Synopsis:  Analytics is an encompassing and multidimensional field that uses statistics, mathematics, predictive modeling, computer programming and machine learning techniques on data to arrive at better decisions.  In this 2-hour talk, participants will be introduced to simple but yet highly effective analytics tools – Excel Solver & Python Scikit-learn. The inner workings of common machine learning algorithms will be explained. The talk session will include live demonstrations on solving optimization, prediction, classification and segmentation problems.
